Well, I'm afraid there isn't much advice I can give outside of taking an anti-inflammatory analgesic. I can give you some from the clinic, but there are several natural herbs here that will do the same in the markets.
I'd suggest some vitamin supplements, electrolyte drinks, or anything to keep fluid levels up.
And bbviously rest is important. You can't recover if you're running yourself ragged, so he or she better keep to bed or minimum/light activity outdoors.
If the symptoms grow worse, bring him or her into the clinic immediately.
